I’ll make laws that will attract meaningful development, Etuwewe assures

The member representing Bateren Constituency in the newly inaugurated Warri South-West Local Government Council Legislative Arm, Hon. Emiko Odin Etuwewe has assured his constituents and the entire people of Warri South-West that he will initiate legislation that will attract meaningful development.

The lawmaker who gave the assurance in an exclusive chat with Our Senior Correspondent at Ogbe-Ijoh, headquarters of Warri South-West Local Government Area, shortly after he and his colleagues were inaugurated, noted that the confidence reposed in him in the election which saw his emergence unopposed, will spur him to make a difference.

Hon. Etuwewe thanked the leadership of Peoples Democratic Party in Delta State and assured that he will liaise with the Council leadership, his constituents and non-governmental organizations in the quest to provide the much needed development to Warri South-West Local Government Area.

While noting that his experience in business will be brought to bear in his oversight function, Hon. Etuwewe promised to put Bateren people first in carrying out his responsibility.

The Chairman of Warri South-West Local Government Area, Hon. Tuoyo Duke Taiye had assured that his administration will operate an open door policy and stressed that environmental sanitation as well as security of lives and properties will be his cardinal objectives
