Yomere: A brief from the Supreme Court Judgement between the people of Omadino community and the Ijaw of Oparaja, Gbaramatu clan in Warri South-West & Warri Kingdom- Opinion
Sir. Armstrong Omaretsuli Yomere

Last week, l introduced how the case started in Itsekiri native Court Ode- Itsekiri, it was later transferred to the Supreme Court of Nigeria, Warri Judicial Division, Holden at Sapele, before his Honour Herbert Macaulay Sandes Brown, ESQ. Puisne judge .

Order of transfer was done by the acting District officer, Robert Henry shepherd by the virtue of powers conferred on him by section 25(1) (b) of native courts ordinance No.44 of 1933, do hereby order the transfer of the Itsekiri court case No 40/49 to Supreme Court, Warri for hearing and determination, on the 7th day of  November, 1949.

Please take notice of the reason the case was transferred, because of a court case instituted by Adurumokumor when he illegally arrested my forefathers for collecting rents from fishermen and timber cutters in a suit No. W/120/46 , the outcome of the case W/120/46 you will hear it from defendant when he was cross examined in the case suit No. W/29/49 .

More also, it was history that was used to determine the judgement of all the court cases won by Omadino people.

It is shameful that some if the Ijaw of Gbaramatu are still parading story their  forefathers used in competent courts and they lost . I hear them talking about Oweizibri founded Amaduno or Omadinor, that there is an idimi or quarter called IDIMI Ijaw in a community you claimed to be the founder , you now have a section that is named after your tribe, laughable frivolous story.

However, let me introduce the father and the founder of Omadino community. Oba Osho the Lenuwa of Omadino was the Son of Oba Talakaye Adegegboye Lenuwa Ode-Omi in the present day Ijebu water side local Government of Ogun state, Nigeria. He reigned between 956 - 1005AD, 49 years, before he joined his ancestors and the founder of Omadino community became Oba ti Ode-Omi after the death of his father, he was the oldest child .

In addition, the founder of Omadino Oba Osho have two other brothers namely , Dekunmodo, he is the father of the founders of ugborodo and Dosunmu, who later went to found his kingdom in the present day Lagos state.

Finally, the people of Omadino are not ready to discuss history with the Ijaw residing on Omadino lands, they can find out from Ogun state or travel to Ode - Omi, Ijebu Ode waterside LGA, Ogun state.

We are waiting for the federal government to enforce our Supreme Court Judgement and the arrest of the GYC president.
