Delta State Government, Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area, Dr. Michael Tidi, the President of Urhobo Progress Union Youth Wing Worldwide, Blessed Ughere, the acting President of Itsekiri National Youths Council Worldwide, Comrade Godwin Utienyin, President of Agbarha Youths, Destiny Agbadia Ekpobedafe, Honourable Barrister Oki David Eyitemi of Okere Community and prominent Itsekiri Rights Activist, Comrade Amechi Ogbitse Ogbonna, on Monday February 5, signed that the, “Urhobo Progress Union (Urhobo House) should retain its official address as No, 18 Okere Road, Warri, while the State Government undertook to reinstall the billboard for the secretariat of the Union which reflects this agreed address.”

The meeting, 18 Okere Road, remain address of Urhobo House – Delta Government, Warri South Chair, leaders of Okere, Agbarha-Warri, others sign which held in the conference room of the Office of the Secretary to the Delta State Government, Kingsley Emu, who also presided at the instance of His Excellency, the Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, was attended by representatives of Agbarha Warri kingdom, Okere Community (Warri), Itsekiri National Youths Council and Urhobo Progress Union Youth Wing Worldwide, Security Agencies and very senior Government Officials.

 

This Newspaper, understands that all parties agreed to maintain the status quo and flatly rejected the move to designate parts of Warri Township as WADO CITY.
