The leadership of Itsekiri National Development Initiative, INDI and Itsekiri Ex-agitators’ Forum, have described President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s appointment of Dr. Dennis Burutu Utuaro as the substantive Coordinator/Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, PAP, a ‘Perfect Fit’.
The INDI and Itsekiri Ex-agitators’ Forum in an electronic statement made available to Fresh Angle International, Tuesday March 19, urged Barr. Otuaro, to set the ground running by prioritizing the welfare of the EX-agitators and clear all outstanding issues of students in schools, to enable graduated students, particularly those in Novena University, get their results and be deployed for the National Youth Service Programme.
The statement, which was authored by the Chairman of INDI and leader Itsekiri EX-agitators, Comrade Dennis Mene, National Secretary of Itsekiri EX-agitators Forum, Comrade Bawo Edema Esq, Leader/ Vice Chairman of Itsekiri EX-agitators Forum, Comrade Oda Ajiyen, Director of Media /Publicity, Comrade Bokhan Otone and Director of Mobilisation, Henry Omajugho, noted inter-alia: “The leadership of Itsekiri National Development Initiative (INDI) and Itsekiri Ex-agitators Forum, wish to officially congratulate Chief (Dr.) Dennis Burutu Utuaro for his appointment as the substantive Coordinator/Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, putting an end to years of interim Coordinator and Administrator.
“We no doubt strongly believe that Dr. Dennis Utuaro will bring his wealth of experience and research strength as a Doctor of Philosophy from University of Benin to bear in the management of the office.
“It is our earnest prayer that God Almighty will give him the wisdom and sound health to be able to function optimally to the admiration of all.
“We also want to congratulate the President of Nigeria, His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the appointment. Indeed, he is a Perfect Fit.
“We wish to therefore call on him to set the ground running by prioritizing the welfare of the EX-agitators and also to clear all outstanding or pending issues of students in schools to enable graduated students especially in Novena University get their results and be deployed for their youth’s service.
“There should be an inclusive administration that carry all along especially the Itsekiri ethnic nationality that has been grossly marginalized.”
