The Chairman of United Support Group USG (umbrella body of the Obidient Movement in Delta State) Comrade Favour Emerure, has charged the newly inaugurated 25 local government Chairmen of the group, to live up to their responsibilities, by championing the growth of USG, as the number one support base for Mr. Peter Obi in Delta State.
Our Principal Correspondent, reports that Comrade Emerure, gave the charge on Friday May 24 at Asaba, Delta State capital.
While urging the 25 LGA Chairmen of USG to work hard and discharge their duties without fear or favour, Comrade Emerure, charged them to be good ambassadors of the Obidient Movement in Delta State.
Elder statesman of Labour Party in Delta State and Campaign Chairman of Delta Central for Peter Obi in the 2023 Presidential election, Engr. Chris Iyovware, encouraged the new USG Chairmen to focus on their support for the group and the struggle to liberate Nigeria.

He passionately appealed to leaders and other stakeholders to sustain their loyalty, urging them to continue with their unwavering support for the needed change coming from the Labour party in subsequent elections.
He added that with the change coming, jobs and natural resources that are not in the exclusive list, shall be explored greatly to generate income for Delta State and be used for the good of the people.
Secretary of USG, Mr. Godfrey Ove, said they have been able to harmonize the Coalition for Peter Obi and Delta State Coordinators’ Forum, which is a formidable force for Mr. Peter Obi in Delta State.
The United Support Group, appreciated the Member Representing Okpe, Sapele and Uvwie Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, Hon. (Barr.) Benedict Etanabene and other leaders for their support and encouragement, assuring that the group will sustain its momentum in solidarity for progress and liberation of the people.
