Foremost leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Delta South, Chief Ayirimi Emami, says any governor fighting against financial and administrative autonomy of local government councils in Nigeria, is wicked to himself and the people.

Our Principal Correspondent, reports that Chief Emami fired the shot at his palatial home in Warri, Delta State, Monday June 17, when he played host to APC Chairmanship and Councillorship candidates across Warri South, Warri North and Warri South-West Local Government Areas.

According to him, if local government councils are autonomous, no state governor can seat somewhere to write results of the outcome of Local Government polls, even as he stressed that the All Progressives Congress, will fully participate in the Delta State Local Government Election, coming up July 13.
