Promoter of the WARRIFOODFESTIVAL, Adeyemi Oluwatobi, has commended The Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse III, for redefining the concept of ‘AFRICA MAN TIME’ as being punctual.
Fresh Angle International, understands that the Warri Monarch, reportedly redefined “AFRICA MAN TIME’ during the inaugural dinner of ELEVATE AFRICA EVENT, held on the 10th and 11th of October 2024 at Shehu Musa Yar'adua City in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
According to Oluwatobi, the Olu of Warri, enjoined Africans to consider packaging the past properly, saying “there have been so much cultural appropriation and deliberate misappropriation about us, ‘Africans.”
The King, reportedly went further to mention that it's not only Africa’s artifacts that have been looted by the rest of the world, but the continent’s ideas and concepts.
