Exactly twelve months after ‘Education is a Scam’ impression was dismissed by The Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse III, Cora Care Foundation, has stepped up the push to unlock potential of ‘The Warri Child’ with a plan to hold one-day career seminar for students in Senior Secondary Schools across Warri and environs.
Recall that during the first edition of ‘The Future of the Warri Child’ seminar put together by Office of the Sole Representative of the Olu of Warri/Liaison to NNPCL and CORA Care Foundation, the Warri Monarch, who was represented by the Aboludero of Warri, Chief (Engr.) Dr. Wilson Edun Olley, proclaimed: “Don't let anyone tell you education is a scam. Education is never a scam."
A flyer, sighted by Fresh Angle International, noted that the second edition of the career-driven conference, aimed at addressing social vices confronting the physical, emotional and psychological development of adolescents aged 12-19 years in Warri, will hold at the expansive Brownhill Coliseum, Ogunu -Warri, Thursday October 24. The event is scheduled to commence from 9.00am.
