All - Itsekiri female group, Warri Indigenous Women Forum, WIWF, is upbeat about the planned visit of Nigeria's First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu to Itsekiri Nation, saying the historic visit, would further energize Itsekiri women.
Chairman of Warri Indigenous Women Forum, Alero Naomi Tenumah, who made the declaration in a statement Sunday February 22, noted that Senator Oluremi Tinubu's planned visit to Palace of the Olu of Warri Thursday February 26, is a reminder of the panache Itsekiri ladies are known for and demonstration of the rich cultural heritage of Warri Kingdom.
Whilst calling on Itsekiri women to come out in numbers in their usual elegant and colourful attire to welcome the First Lady, the Tenumah averred that the visit, was sign of better things to come for Itsekiri Nation and Delta State as a whole.
