UBA Group supports African Union Peace Fund with USD$0.5 million

Africa’s Global Bank, UBAGroup, has committed USD$0.5 million to AfricanUnion Peace Fund, as part of its crucial roles in conflict resolution, mediation and securing a stable future for Africa.

Fresh Angle International, can report that the Chairman, UBA Group, Tony Elumelu, made the disclosure in a post on his X handle Monday, February 17.

Elumelu, who stated that he spent 24 hours in Ethiopia weekend, noted that peace and security are the bedrock of Africa’s economic transformation.
 
He asserted: “The AU Peace Fund plays a crucial role in conflict resolution, mediation, and securing a stable future for Africa.

“Our commitment at @UBAGroup goes beyond banking—we invest in the future of Africa, ensuring that businesses, communities, and nations thrive.

“We cannot talk about economic growth without talking about security. We must create an environment where entrepreneurs can flourish, investments can thrive, and our youth can dream big. Peace is not just a goal—it’s a necessity.
