Rehabilitation of bridge, construction of market, procurement of transformers, scale up Warri South Council 2025 budget to N24 billion


The sun of fifty million naira ( N50,000,000.00) earmarked for the rehabilitation of Emebiren bridge in Okumagba Layout, Warri, procurement of four 500 KVA Transformers and repairs at the cost of two hundred million naira ( N200,000,000.00) and the construction of market at Edjeba Community, Warri at four hundred million naira ( N400,000,000.00) scaled up Warri South Local Government Council 2025 budget assented to by Warri South Local Government Chairman, Comrade Agbateyiniro Weyinmi Isaac.

The Warri South Local Government Boss, signed a total of Twenty - Four Billion, Three Hundred and Twenty -One Million, One Hundred and Seventeen Thousand, Two Hundred and Seventy - Three Naira, Forty - Five Kobo ( N24,321,117,273,45k) as the Council's 2025 budget into law on Friday February 07, at the end of the Council's inaugural exco meeting for 2025. 

The appropriation tagged " budget of crystallization" which was passed by the Warri South Local Government Council Legislative Arm January 30, after careful and exhaustive deliberation, is made up of N16.4 billion capital expenditure, representing 66. 70 percent and N7.8 billion recurrent expenditure, totalling 33.30 percent. 

Recall that Comrade Agbateyiniro, had on December 17, 2024 presented a budget proposal of Twenty - Three Billion, Six Hundred and Seventy - One Million, One Hundred and Seventy - Three Naira, Forty - Five Kobo (N23,671,117,273,45k) to the Warri South Council Legislative Arm for consideration and passage.
