Former two-time president of Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, PFN and founder of Christian Elders Council, Pastor Ayodele Joseph Oritsejafor says political leaders of his generation have failed Nigeria, wondering why they are unwilling to handover leadership to the younger generation.
Pastor Oritsejafor who made the declaration Sunday April 8 at his Word of Life Bible Church in Warri, Delta State after teenagers in the church gave thanksgiving to God for the success of their weeklong programme, quipped that the wishes of reasonable parents /guardians is to do everything possible for their wards to be better than them.
He stressed the need for members of his congregation who are not registered to do so in order to get their permanent voter's card, PVC so as to be eligible to perform their civic responsibility in the forthcoming elections.
The declaration by Pastor Oritsejafor for younger generation to be given more opportunities in the political space, is coming on the heels of similar position by former President Olusegun Obasanjo and General Ibrahim Babangida (Rtd.)
