Warri South: Agbateyiniro dissolves revenue committees, inaugurates fresh committee

The Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area, Comr. Weyinmi Isaac Agbateyiniro, on Friday July 26, dissolved all revenue committees in the Council and immediately inaugurated fresh revenue committee, led by Comrade Ofoyeju Izuagie.

 

The Warri South Council Boss, who performed the historic dissolution and subsequent inauguration at the Warri South Council Conference Hall, declared that all revenues accruing to the Council henceforth, should be paid to the local government council account.

The Warri South Council Head of Revenue Unit, Mr. Tuoyo Ogedegbe, will serve as Secretary to the newly inaugurated Revenue Committee, which has the immediate past secretary to the Local Government Council, Mr. Joseph Oribioye, Chief Jude Onovughe, Chief Glory Ayiwe and Chief Frank Okolobe, as members.

Members of the committee, also include; Dr. Marvis Onojeghwo, Prince O. Enamejewa, Comr. Destiny Noritsegho, Pastor Ulisanmi Edukugho, Chief Gabriel Eyekpimi and Dcn. Ejiro Ibuakevwe.

 

Chairman of the Revenue Committee, Comrade Ofoyeju Izuagie, who spoke on behalf of members of the Revenue Committee, assured the Warri South Local Government Chairman that they would carry out the assignment in-line with the extant law and work assiduously towards shoring up the internal revenue profile of the Council.
